Welcome to my Kenyan website! Rather than sending out e-mails all the time, I thought it would be easier for you (or maybe for me) to check up on me through this blog. I hope you enjoy it!
Are you a scrapbooker? Do you think you will put together a book of these adventures? Or maybe it would be better for you to make a book with the Shutterfly program. Those books turn out really nice.
You know, I hadn't ever considered monkeys getting into a person's pack and tent while you're away. The idea is hitting me in a very fun, unexpected way. Marmots, bears, racoons - these things are a part of my psyche. But to have actual monkeys rifling through your stuff. Huh. So cool.
By the way, you're welcome for sending your folks to Africa. It was nothing.
I am teaching sixth grade at an international school called West Nairobi School. It is located in Karen, Kenya, which is a suburb of Nairobi. I came to Kenya from Anchorage, Alaska, which is where I grew up. I'm quite blessed to have lived in both beautiful Alaska and beautiful East Africa.
